Getting Started
Creating your account
Go to swot-ai.com and click Get Started. Enter your name, email address, and a password, then accept the Terms of Service. Creating an account is free — subscribing costs $69/month and includes 750 credits shared across every module.
After verifying your email you'll be walked straight through your business profile and into your first Business Health Check — no detour to a dashboard first. Once you have results, your dashboard becomes your home base: it shows a suggested focus, active goals, recent work, and quick links to start something new. You can set a daily spending limit any time under Account → Profile.
Setting up your business profile
Right after creating your account you'll be prompted to complete a short business profile. This takes about a minute and covers:
- Entity type — the kind of organization (Business, Freelance, Non-profit, Side Project, Department, Personal/Career, or Other)
- Industry — used to inject industry-specific context into every AI prompt (threats, KPIs, and benchmarks relevant to your sector)
- Company size, revenue range, location, and years in operation — optional but significantly improve AI output quality
You can skip the optional fields and come back to complete them later via Account → Profile. You can also add multiple businesses from the dashboard — useful if you advise more than one company, or want to keep a side project separate from your main business.
Your first Business Health Check
A Business Health Check is a full SWOT — strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, each confidence-scored — plus a prioritized action plan, executive summary, Intelligence Hub access, and PDF export. Each analysis costs 60 credits from your monthly subscription pool — Advisor messages and Decision Test runs draw from the same pool.
Adding a payment method
To run a Business Health Check or forecast, add a payment card:
- Click Account in the top navigation
- Select Payment Method
- Enter your card details and click Save Card
Your card is stored securely by Stripe — SWOT Intelligence never sees or stores your full card number.
